MY HOBBY

Introduction: Hobby means one’s favourite pastime. It is not one’s main business. It may not bring money. But it gives joy and pleasure.

My hobby: Most people have hobbies. I too have one. My hobby is gardening. I have a small flower garden. It is in front of my reading room. I work in it in the morning and in the evening for sometime. I dig earth and prepare the beds. I sow the seeds of flowers. Sometimes I have to transplant the seedlings. Sometime I make the soil loose. I also weed out the grass etc. There are different kinds of flower plants in my garden. I water the plants regularly.

Enjoyment: The garden is full of flowers. Each flower has a colour and scent of its own. I go into my garden in the morning. I see the flowers. My heart leaps up with joy.

Conclusion: Hobby is a source of joy. It refreshes our mind. But we should not be always busy with our hobbies. Our main work should not suffer on account of hobby.
