Travelling is the best way to enjoy leisure time. A journey by train is pleasant for everyone. It saves one’s time, money and energy. It is safe and sound. The journey that is undertaken by train to go to any place is known as a journey by train.

During the last winter vaction, we made a journey by train from Dhaka to Chittagong to attend the wedding of my cousin and we decided to go by a train.

On the fixed day, we went to Kamlapur Railway Station at 7 a.m. and bought tickets. I managed to take my seat beside a window to enjoy the sights. Our journey began when the guard blew the whistle.

The train first moved slowly, and after a while it geared up quickly. Fresh wind began to enter our compartment. Our train rushed forward crossing many bridges. It was a nice experience for me. Sometimes, our train moved through open fields. We saw the farmers ploughing, cowboys tending their cows. Again, we saw many villagers doing their home works. Our train also moved through some markets. There people were engaged in being and selling goods. Actually this journey gave me a new and exciting experience.

Our compartment was crowded. There was no vacant. We spent our time talking to our nearby passengers. Some hawkers were the with various items.

At last, we reached the destination safe and sound at 4 p.m. The train journey would always be as a good memory in my mind. I wish I would make it again and again.
