OUR SCHOOL

Introduction : The school is the second family. How we will grow up largely depends upon in which schools we have attended.

Situation : I read in Poura Preparatory High School. It stands near the old stadium. It is a very old School. It was established in 1966.

Description : The school is a brick-built house. The are fiiteen classrooms. There are one office room and a library room. There is a separate room for the headmaster. Once it was the best school in the then Bengal.

Staff and students : There are about one thousand two hundred pupils and thirty two teachers in our school. The headmaster is a learned man. He lives the students very much. Other teachers are also efficient. All the teachers are trained. They take care of the students. They behave well with us.

School hours : The school sits at 10 a.m. and breaks at 4-30 p.m. We have recess after the fourth period.

Result : The S.S.C. Examination results of our school are very good.

Conclusion : We are proud of our school. We should try for the improvement of our school.
